About Satmarg Astro

What we do

Free tools, computed by our own engine: kundli (birth chart), kundli matching, panchang for any city, muhurat and rashifal.

Four services: palm reading (samudrika shastra), numerology (Chaldean ank jyotish), face reading (mukh lakshan) and vastu analysis. Each report is written for one person from their own details, and delivered at a private link.

Numerology's arithmetic is done by our own code, by the Chaldean rules. For palm, face and vastu, an AI model examines your photos — or the rooms you describe — against the classical texts. A palm is examined once into a single sheet of scores, and every language of the report copies its numbers from that sheet, so Hindi and English agree. The model never does astronomy or numerology's arithmetic, and it is never presented as a human pandit.

What we will never do

• Predict lifespan, death, illness or the end of a relationship.
• Sell fear: no 'dosha' scares, no 'bad period' upsells.
• Ask you to buy gemstones, yantras or paid pujas. Remedies are sattvik and free.
• Show fake reviews, counters or ratings.

Who we are

Satmarg Astro is a Satmarg company. Satmarg (satmarg.com) is an Indian pilgrimage platform operated from Varanasi by Bytechakra, an Udyam-registered enterprise. Satmarg Astro began as Satmarg's jyotish section and became its own product in September 2026, with its own accounts and its own data.

Methodology

• Planet positions are computed by our own engine: the planets from the VSOP87 theory, the Moon from ELP, with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa — the standard of India’s national almanac. Raman and KP are available too.
• Every calculation is tested against the Swiss Ephemeris, which we use only as a check: Sun to Saturn agree to under one arcsecond, the Moon and lagna to within a few arcseconds, tithi and nakshatra end times to within a minute.
• Birth time is read in the birthplace’s time zone (IANA), historical war-time offsets included — never your device’s.
• Dashas, doshas, yogas, gun milan and muhurat are computed in code from written classical rules (BPHS, Muhurta Chintamani); each result shows the rule it used.
• The AI never does astronomy or arithmetic. In reports and rashifal it only puts the computed facts into plain words.
