An Indian wedding belongs to the whole clan, not just two people: the dholak nights, the halwai's fires, relatives arriving from far away. So the lists tie another person's wedding to being among your people and a lively home. It is often searched as sapne mein doosre ki shaadi dekhna.
Interestingly, while some lists read your own wedding dream in reverse, almost all read someone else's as plainly good. Common beliefs:
- Attending as a guest: respect, and new acquaintances.
- A sibling's or friend's wedding: good news for them, or your bond deepening.
- Running things at the wedding: growing responsibility in the family.
- The feast and sweets: plenty and happiness; some lists add a reminder about expense.

- in wedding season, the day's talk and photos simply return at night.
Thinking it over
If the dream was sweet, enjoy it. If it carried a sting (envy, feeling left behind, an old memory), that feeling is real and worth a moment's honest thought. A dream about someone's wedding decides nothing about theirs or yours.
