Milk in a dream is read as auspicious in almost every Indian tradition: happiness, health and plenty at home. Some lists link spilt or curdled milk to a small worry, but all of it is belief, not a forecast. The Hindi search is sapne mein doodh dekhna.
Milk in tradition
The dream chapters of the Puranas generally include white things, milk and curd among auspicious dreams. In Indian homes milk marks every turn of life: at a griha pravesh it is boiled until it overflows, it is poured over the Shivling, a newborn's first taste may be a drop of it, and Vishnu rests on the ocean of milk. The old blessing doodhon nahao, pooton phalo, "bathe in milk, flourish in sons", comes from the same place.
So dream lists link milk to prosperity, purity and a mother's care. Spilt or split milk is the reverse picture in those lists, the worry of blessings draining away.

What psychology says
Milk is our first food, so it is the deepest image of nourishment and care. The dream often comes when you are looking after someone, a baby or an ageing parent, or when you yourself feel the need to be looked after. New mothers and pregnant women dream of milk often, which is entirely natural. Spilling milk in a dream can also be a form of the fear of making a small mistake.
