Faeces or filth in a dream is unpleasant to think about, but most Indian folk lists connect it with money: a sudden gain, or money that was stuck coming back. That is traditional interpretation, not a forecast; the dream decides nothing about your income.
Why the reverse reading
It seems strange that the thing we find dirtiest when awake is called lucky in a dream. The logic comes from farming life. In the village, dung and manure are what made fields yield; courtyards were plastered with cow dung and dung cakes fuelled the kitchen. Whatever makes soil fertile naturally became a symbol of increase.
The second reason is the familiar rule that dreams often turn out opposite: an unpleasant scene, a pleasant result. Several other folk traditions around the world also link excrement with money, so the idea is not only Indian. It is usually searched as sapne mein latrine dekhna.

Psychology links this dream not with money but with letting go and with privacy:
- releasing a load: anger, a grievance or regret held in;
- fear of embarrassment: the toilet with no door or in a crowd often reflects anxiety about looking exposed in front of others;
- no privacy: such dreams come more in a crowded home, a hostel or while travelling;
- the body's needs: a full stomach or bladder often shows up in sleep exactly like this.
Nothing to be embarrassed about
This is a common dream and there is nothing shameful in it. It says nothing about you as a person. If it keeps returning, ask whether you are holding something in that needs saying. And if you have real stomach trouble when awake, a doctor is the right place for it, not a dream book.
