How is a muhurat chosen?
Fixed rules are applied to every day’s panchang: the weekdays, tithis and nakshatras suited to the purpose; rahu kaal, bhadra and some yogas avoided; kharmas, chaturmas, adhik maas and days when Jupiter or Venus is combust left out. Each window lists its reasons.
Is AI used here?
No. Muhurat is entirely rule-based calculation; the rules are open on the ‘how we calculate’ page.
My family priest gave a different time — who is right?
We keep only the strict rules many traditions share, so some valid times are missing from our list. We do not check lagna shuddhi or personal chandra bala; a priest chooses with those in mind.
