Common misreadings
- Calling it weak because of zero digbala. Directional strength is one component of shadbala; a Venus in Malavya yoga in the 10th is plainly strong.
- Expecting only an arts career. Venus in the 10th can shine in finance, law, management or medicine too; the sign and the 10th lord decide the field.
- Skipping the aspect on the 4th. Much of what this Venus earns shows in the home.
- Mixing house systems. In Western tropical charts Venus may fall in a different house; this reading uses sidereal, whole-sign houses.
